Users were offered to trade crypto on Uniswap directly from Twitter

Only one thing is needed for that – to install a special widget in the browser.

Crypto traders were offered to trade on the Uniswap decentralized exchange directly from Twitter accounts. Transactions can be carried out using a tool developed by the Maskbook startup team. Information about him appeared in the project blog.

Technically, the tool is a widget. With its help, Twitter users can access the Uniswap trading platform functionality and conduct transactions without leaving the social network.

The widget broadcasts data from the CoinMarketCap resource and the decentralized exchange. For the convenience of work, all information is presented in a separate window. The widget can recognize cryptocurrency tickers in posts in the format $ sign + the name of the digital asset. For example, $ ETH or $ UNI. When hovering over the ticker of a cryptocurrency, if it is presented in the Uniswap listing, the user can use the widget to conduct a transaction with a digital asset on a decentralized exchange.

In the future, the Maskbook team plans to integrate the development into other social networks, including Facebook. Also, project representatives intend to expand the list of DeFi-protocols supported by the widget. The developers believe that their project will make it easier for the general public to access digital assets.

The mask can be found in the Google Chrome web store. In practice, the functionality works in the following way – watch the video  to find out.
