Unknown bitcoin whale transferred 12,773 BTC to the Kraken exchange

Starting from August 30, an unknown large trader sent 12,773 BTC (almost $ 150 million) to the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange per day. This is evidenced by the data of the analytical service Cryptoquant.

This is the largest exchange replenishment for the summer of 2020. The previous record was set on June 2, when Kraken received 1,095 BTC at $9,517.

Analysts note that this may indicate an impending drawdown in the price of the first cryptocurrency. However, due to the fact that at the time of this writing, the increase in funds was recorded only on Kraken, there is no reason to expect a major collapse in Bitcoin.

Earlier, experts noted that large players do not count on a medium-term fall in bitcoin after an unsuccessful attempt to break through the $12,300 level, betting on a short-term fall and further growth of bitcoin from the $11,000– $11,500 range.

At the time of this writing, the price of bitcoin is $ 11,883.

Recall that in mid-August, analysts at the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange predicted an increase in the price of bitcoin by 50-200% in the coming months.
