Draper told what assets enter his investment portfolio.
Tim Draper, who owns 30 thousand bitcoins, said that he is very interested in altcoins. Thus, he became another billionaire, apart from brothers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, who, with all their strategic support for cryptocurrency number 1, are also investing in altcoins. As for the Winklevoss brothers, they invested in Ethereum no less than in bitcoins. Draper in his turn did not focus on the largest altcoin in terms of capitalization.
Draper said that his investment portfolio includes, in addition to bitcoins, Bitcoin Cash, XRP, Aragon and Tezos. Three weeks ago a twit appeared on the billionaire’s account telling of his appreciation of the transactional capabilities of Bitcoin Cash, which is one of the reasons for investment in this digital asset.
While some in the cryptocurrency community doubted that Draper wrote this tweet himself, his latest revelation about his investment preferences suggests that he is indeed interested in Bitcoin Cash. At the same time, the entrepreneur confirmed his confidence in the fact that bitcoin would reach the $250 thousand mark by the beginning of 2023, which will make him a businessman with a fortune of $ 7.5 billion in bitcoins alone.
It is worth noting that the development of the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector has led to a new round of interest in altcoins, including those who previously invested only in bitcoins. At the same time, there are members of cryptosphere investing not only in digital assets, but also in cryptocurrency infrastructure. For instance, Draper became one of the investors in Ripple’s technical solutions, as well as in the Aragon project, built on the basis of Ethereum.
