The number of blocked BTC at the moment has grown to 87,752 BTC.
According to DefiPulse, on September 2, the total amount of blocked funds in DeFi protocols reached $9.6 billion. After that, a decline began, which coincided with the correction of Bitcoin to the level of $10,000.
More than 50% of the coins (52,019 BTC) are locked in WBTC, and their total number on the Ethereum network at the time of writing is 78,112.
