The Monero developers have introduced a new algorithm called Triptych.
The solution promises even greater data protection by obfuscating information for monitoring Monero transactions, which is used by CipherTrace.
Triptych allows you to increase the number of traps that hide the senders of funds, uses less space on the blockchain and increases the speed of transactions.
CipherTrace technology raised doubts about its effectiveness after CEO Dave Jevans was unable to explain the methods by which transactions are tracked. According to him, the development uses a probabilistic approach.
This means that there is no confidence in the effectiveness of the tool.
