Kiss frontman supports Cameron Winklevoss’ Bitcoin spread

We say that the future of money is cryptocurrencies. It seems like many famous people also hold this opinion and support the innovative technologies behind bitcoin.

Last year, Business Insider released a list of 13 celebrities who openly support cryptocurrencies and possibly own them.

The list includes a variety of celebrities, including sports stars, actors, business people, and musicians.

Some of them “may have millions of dollars worth of bitcoins,” Business Insider says.

But the list didn’t include Kiss frontman Gene Simmons who has expressed his willingness to contribute to the further spread of bitcoin.

On Twitter, the musician commented on the message of one of the founding brothers of the Gemini exchange Cameron Winklevoss.

“It’s easier to buy bitcoin and ether if you’re already on the old system,” Winklevoss wrote. – If you do not have a bank account, it is difficult to get money in crypto. We need to fix this. ”

“I’m going to do it, I’m already doing it,” Simmons replied.

Although market participants can only guess about the true meaning of the commentary, this is not the first time Simmons has addressed the topic of Bitcoin. So, in September 2017, he said:

“I am interested in bitcoin, but only as an element of the investment mosaic.”

In 2019, Simmons met with Morgan Creek Digital co-founder Anthony Pompliano.

“Bitcoin is volatile, but every time people think it’s dead, it goes up a little,” Pompliano quoted Simmons at the time.
In addition to music, Simmons is a successful entrepreneur, and his fortune is estimated at $ 400 million. He owns a stake in the Rock & Brews restaurant chain.
