Bitcoin rate reaches $10,900

On Wednesday, September 16, the price of bitcoin rises. At 09:30 UTC, the first cryptocurrency is trading at $10,779 (+ 0.13%), according to CoinMarketCap.

Earlier, the bitcoin rate rose above $10,900.

BTC/USD chart of the Bitstamp exchange by TradingView Ether fell to $361.61 (-3.95%).

XRP fell 2.74% to $0.24. 9 of the top 10 cryptocurrencies are trading in the red.

The FxPro team of analysts notes: “The bulls are not abandoning their attempts to push Bitcoin above $11,000. During the day, the reference cryptocurrency was able to touch this level, but could not resist the ensuing onslaught of bears. By Wednesday morning, the bitcoin network recorded increased trading volumes of about $44 billion. Nevertheless, it is clear that each new attempt by buyers turned out to be weaker than the previous one, and on Wednesday morning Bitcoin changes hands around $10,800″.
